Glass Specification

All glass used in balustrade applications must be toughened or laminated safety glass. At Simba, we use 10mm or 12mm toughened glass as standard, with laminated options available for extra security and noise control.

Frameless vs Semi-Frameless

Frameless systems use structural point fixings or a channel base, creating an uninterrupted glass surface. Semi-frameless systems add a top handrail, which provides additional rigidity and a softer aesthetic. Both systems meet international safety standards when properly installed.
